I have a Fender Strat with HSS. The desire is to wire it so it has 2 volume, 1 tone, and the 5 way switch. 1 volume dedicated to the humbucker and the other for the middle and neck single coils. The humbucker uses four conductor Dimarzio wiring style. I'm trying to figure it out if it is possible and would greatly appreciate the help.

Strat blender wiring
Check this out. You might like it better. I've wired a couple strats like this, and I'd do it to mine if I didn't use it for demos.

well one issue I've got is that it has one of these nasty korean made 5 way switches and I've never wired one with one of these. here is a picture of it. Every diagram and anything else I've wired hasn't used one such as this. I'll probably end up going with the standard 1 vol, 2 tone. The guy doesn't want to spend for parts so I'm stuck with using this switch. Any advice with how these are???

When I get an odd switch, the easiest thing to do is get a multimeter and set it for continuity testing, and then touch an end terminal, and start touching the other probe to the other ones until you get a beep. Repeat this for the other combinations. Write down the results.
Usually you have a common terminal for each pole, and the others are the positions for the switch.
You you see how it's switching, you can draw out a schematic, or just write down which terminal is which.
If it's a regular 5 way switch, it will be pretty simple to figure out what's what.It would be possible to describe everything scientifically, but it would make no sense; it would be without meaning, as if you described a Beethoven symphony as a variation of wave pressure. — Albert Einstein
