    whats your thought on this winder

    I ran across this while bay surfing ....whats you guys opinion of this winder it doesnt seem that out there price wise. would this be a good prospect for winding pickups? or an overkill of large porportions lol

    This particular winder is not suitable for most pickups. The winder has a max of 40 AWG winder based on the specs listed, and most pickups are 42-45 AWG.

    Pretty looking though!

          That's a nice looking winder... Wonder if it can be made to work with thinner wire?

            It could be modified to do what you want. Probably just changing a spring on the tensioner would do it.

            I'll bet they already make an appropriate model that they would be happy to sell you. I'd ask them.
