I'm hand winding with a Schatten winder. I stop and take a look every once in a while and try to keep things looking even.
I'm wondering what folks have to say about the way a coil comes together. If I load up one side pretty heavy and then move over to the other side what should I expect for tonal changes?
If I wind the early part of the coil a little more loosely than the later part what should I expect?
I have read a lot of posts on here, and I don't think I've seen this addressed too much. Forgive me if there are a million threads on this already.
Just looking for people's opinions on coil winding styles and their effects.
