Up to now I've been a custom made-to-order winder so I've just wrapped the pu's up carefully in bubblewrap with more cushioning in the box, and a little baggie with mount screws/springs and a business card attached. But lately

I've been getting queries from guitar shop owners which means the presentation obviously needs to be vastly upgraded. I've got the logo/artwork more or less put together and I bought some clear plastic boxes from U-Line. Now like some proper foam, preferably pre-cut to the shape of each basic pickup type.

Does anyone make anything like that or do you have to cut them yourself, and if so, how?

I think U-Line carries the cubed foam stuff. You pull out the cubes you don't want to make the shape you need. That should work pretty well.

I saw that and it looks great, but unless I'm misunderstanding the pricing (and I may be), I'd be spending about $12 per package I send out.

plastic Clam shells - with 1/2" foam cut around the pups - & your business card in the header area works great!
