  • Lipstick problem

    Hi,sorry my english is bad,i have a danelectro guitar,the bridge pickup is broken,no continuity,how i open the metal cover? I dont know how to acces to the coil to see the wire,i plan to rewinding,thanks for your help

      Thanks peter,very instructive,but my first problem is how disassembling the cover,i try but the two half is very tight!

        If it is a modern Danelectro, then the pickup is epoxied together, so good luck getting the pickup apart. I have a modern Danelectro from 1999 that I bought new. The stock pickups sounded lousy, and I upgraded to some custom shop Seymour Duncans, and sold the stock pickups rather than try to rewind them to make them sound better. I haven't regretted my decision at all.
