I am in the process of rebuilding a Fender WRHB reissue (finally got the guy to drop the guitar of) and it has a huge pole spread; 54.5 mm/2.1457"! Does anyone have a source for bobbins like that?

Never mind, I figured out a way to re-use the old bobbins...

I rebuilt one using two cheep-o tele bridge pickups with molded bobbins. A little sanding and carefull fitting did the trick.Comment

I'd like to have some custom humbucker bobbins made myself -- standard in all other ways but 8mm (or even 8.5 to 9) vertical space between flanges instead of the usual +/-6.5.Comment
