What are the measurements DC ohms of each bobbin? Can you measure the dimensions of the keeper? HOw tall is the coil, the actual coil area, not bobbin height?
Are these standard humbucker height? What is different about these vs. TTops or PAFs? Would appreciate any info. How tall are the slugs, magnet size dimensions, pole screw length? Very cool photos, thanks.....

I have PAF one that looks just like that but the wire in mine looks darker and mine has two black leads and brass baseplate screws. Mine has standard PAF slugs. Other than spacing they are PAF style bobbins but one of the two was a hair shorter in height with my pickup. The keeper bar in mine looks the same. The magnet looks the same also. The magnet is short A2 in mine. I had it nuked with a BH curve also by a magnet maker and duplicated it. Short A2 for sure but not like a modern A2 mix. I have actually seen an old Gibson A2 short magnet drawing. I know Gibson was using short A2 as late as 1968.

Yours has a solid keeper? BTW those keepers were stock for dog ear P90s, that where they came from. The one in the photos looks more massive, maybe it just optical but would like to know the measurements.

Jon I think yours is a Byrdland pickup, I did some research and they were narrow spaced. I bought a narrow spaced slug coil bobbin narrowed spaced off Ebay some time ago, the bobbin is different than PAF bobbins, narrow spaced and had PE. I ended up taking the wire off the coil and have the number of the mold for that particular version.

Mine has a solid keeper. It is not a Byrdand pickup though. The cover and screws are nickel and they have not have gold stripped off them. I think that some Barney Kessell guitars came with nickel hardware so it probably came from one of those.

Those are like the keepers that were in the old patent label pickups I used to have. In fact the whole pickup looks the same.

Very odd, I guess those keepers were just used when they ran out of the 10 hole ones. The only one I've come across is one that was in an early dog ear P90, I have the cover and cover shim, both made of butryrate.
