R.I.P Taku Sakashta

Luthier and p'up winder Taku Sakashta's been found dead, most probably murdered, at his shop's parking lot the 12th of February.

Sad. I moved to Santa Rosa in the early 80's and it was a nice small American town and community. Rohnert Park was often called "Rodent Park" because it was mostly subdivisions and not really a town and was right next to and almost part of Santa Rosa. Then the gangs moved in and Santa Rosa and surrounding area when I left in the early-mid 90's had metal detectors in places like Taco Bell to prevent gun bearing gangsters from shooting people for wearing the wrong color baseball cap etc. I've never seen such a thing before or since, totally insane, metal detector entries on almost all the businesses there. I don't think its changed much and he probably had someone try to rip him off to get drug money I bet. California used to be a cool place to live once upon a time....
