    Im not sure what these are they are ink dated like Shaws but i think they may be to early. any ideas? thanks

      Shaws have more holes too. Here's an '81 Shaw baseplate.

        Odd. I have a Shaw and it only has the traditional holes. Guess they ran out of regular baseplates and used Dirty Fingers plates..

          That's from one of my friend's many Les Pauls. All the ones he removed look like that. I also had a Shaw laying around from my '81 LP Standard, and it had the same baseplate. I guess they used what they had on hand.
