Just FYI for you absent minded types like myself, if the battery gets pretty low on the Extech LCR meter, its not real obvious that it is and it will start giving you false readings that are abnormally high. I pulled my battery out tonite and it was about 7.4volts, I think it starts to fart out around then. There is no power meter for battery life on the thing, just a low battery alert but its not an obvious icon. Also was getting a weird alert that says "FUSE" and can find no documentation on that if thats what it actually says. There's no problem with the fuse either....

You might notice the meter gets slower to come up with a reading, I think pickups are harder work for it to read than mostly simpler stuff it was designed for, so at lower battery voltage it doesn't have enough juice to put into the coil to get an accurate reading....http://www.SDpickups.com
