Fender cs and Ri mag orientation

Does anyone one know off hand the orientation of usual (recently) orientation of fender custom shop and USA RI single coils. Also, has it been anyone else experience that a lot of other manufactures are using the opposite orientation? Reason is I got a dozen used bobbins with mags sitting here and five fender cs pickups that need rewinding. The unwound bobbins have the same magnetic orientation as the rwrp fender center pickup (I'm assuming this as it is the only one with a yellow lead, they all came to me loose) and the necks and bridges have the same orientation as my start and '68 tele. Which I am assuming is south up per Seymour Duncan's notes. I could go to walmart and get a compass if I felt like spending my morning shoveling and my afternoon determining what a snow drift and whats a parked jeep.

The 57/62 I have are south up. To check polarity I have a pen with an inserted alnico III magnet at the end.
