By the way, I'm am very much agreeing with your tastes here. A couple years ago found myself listening to a bunch of Night and thinking I must be old and white and came to grips with it.

And just for the haters, Richie and Candace have been together for decades.
I hate her and I think RJD was several orders of magnitude superior to her. She is only 26 years younger than RB; he has a kid 7 years older than her.

You likely are old and white but their music still sucks donkey balls IMHO.

Also how is she Celtic? She was born in Long island NY! Her last name is Isralow. I think that's a Jewish name. So I'm more Celtic than she is! What's wrong, you don't like the Irish?

And like Yes or not, Steve Howe is a great guitarist.
She's good looking and has a great voice, but she looks like she should be displaying cars on Let's Make A Deal

Apparently she did do some commercials.

Hey, I'm old and white and my Italian mother was a Jazz singer in the big band era, so I grew up listening to Swing and Motown, so what do I know. My father listened to a lot of Irish crooners, which I never liked. My wife is 19 years younger than me. Nothing wrong with that!

Getting back to this band... I know nothing of their music, but music isn't better or worst, it's different. Thinking otherwise is very closed minded. There's a lot of stuff I don't care for, but someone likes it.

This was Ritchie's project, not hers. She was a backup singer in Deep Purple for a while. Ritchie also plays 'cello, so he has had an interest in different kinds of music for a long time. He actually stopped playing guitar for a while.

And of course Ritchie is also old and white, and people's taste often change as they get older (and whiter).

I did see the original Deep Purple several times, as well as the version with Coverdale/Hughes.
It would be possible to describe everything scientifically, but it would make no sense; it would be without meaning, as if you described a Beethoven symphony as a variation of wave pressure. — Albert Einstein
