  • 3-conductor and 2-conductor

Anyone have a good source for 3- and 2-conductor? And by 2-conductor, I don't mean braid. I mean 2 colored wires and the bare for the shield.

Right now I clip the unused wires on the 4-conductor but it looks kind of tacky and I want to get away from that.

For shielded 2-conductor, why not use mic cable? Maybe Canare L-2E5 from Markertek or an equivalent from here:
    Best-Tronics Mfg., Inc.: Bulk Product

Disclaimer: I haven't used this cable myself, or double-checked the P/N - although I did once use some spare Canare L-4E5C star-quad for part of a harness (probably overkill for the application, and could be a bit clumsy using a pair of wires for each conductor.)

I "mispoke". The cable I used was mini star-quad from Best-Tronics, CA-0363 @ $0.36/ft; pretty nice stuff with good flexible jacket. They also carry 2 cond 28AWG, CA-0484 for $0.26/ft - which I've never tried.

PS- Remember to use a hyphen in "Best-Tronics"; Best Tronics is a different company.
