Question about inductance.

Ok take out the pickup parts from the equation and only factor the wind. What will increase the inductance in the wind. I read it in a discussion on here this morning but cant get back to it now, it was in a thread about something totally different. I think it read the more scatter in a pickup will drive up inductance because of being more wire on the pickup, Is this correct. I believe Possum was talking about it.

Never mind, it all fell together for me upon inspection of a few fender pickups and looking at the spec sheets. I am a happy camper :-)

I dont know of that thread but Dave seems right. I've wound with alot of scatter and it makes a fat coil and more inductance, not a bunch though...
