A fatal exception 0E has occured at F0AD:42494C4C
42 49 4C 4C is the ASCII characters "BILL", so we could read this as F*** Off And Die Bill- Is this some subtle dig at Microsoft
"Enzo, I see that you replied parasitic oscillations. Is that a hypothesis? Or is that your amazing metal band I should check out?"

      Nope.

      It is not subtle.

i wind 10300 to 10800 turns of 42awg formvar for a tele bridge pup, which nets me 8.2k to 8.7k ohms. i space the bobbin higher, at around .540" and use .690" mags, flush top poles. love that thick tone!

I was doing a tiny bit of work for a friend who has a '53 and a '57 Tele. The bridge p/u's in both are dead, but he is letting me hold onto them for a week to measure off them what I can without tearing them apart. You know, just because their available to do so with. Also left me with the neck p/u off the '57 which does show continuity.

                Yup, it's still unavailable.
                Server side problem.
I contacted the admin guy earlier today.

Let's see if I can attach the Coil_Estimator here.
It should unzip to the html file that you can load in your browser.

Could be my phone but it doesn't seem tohave all the stuff in it, however I was wondering if you had considered a phone app version, I would happily buy that product and even donate to the development!

If the originator member (salvarsan) is OK with it, you could just load the html file onto some web space you have access to (assuming you have some) and view the page in your mobile device's web browser. The link above worked perfectly on my iPhone before the access issues.

It's written as a generic javascript/HTML file for the broadest possible distribution. Do anything you want with it except say you wrote it.

You can also save the unzipped HTML file on your hard drive or your smart phone's external memory and load it from the File menu as needed.

I'm happy to host it on an unrelated webdomain but I couldn't download it from the link above.
If i click the link all i get is an empty web page. If I download linked file I get a gif image called "clear.gif".
Perhaps Dan you can email it to me?

I've put salvarsan's coil estimator up here in a directory on one of my sites until a more appropriate home becomes available.

Unless there are objections of course.
