    IMHO these are just indicators for magnetism, like the screwdrivers with voltage indicating lamps inside.
    With the scale they can be used to test a batch of magnets for consistency.
    The publishing of such values on a website or datasheet is a form of misinformation.

        Interesting news on this pickup. I measured the wire on this again. This time to 4 decimal places. It is actually .0014", which according to MWS is 48awg with a single build.

        Does anyone have any of this for sale? Buying 5lbs of this from MWS would be insane.

          That must be a small coil to be using awg 48
          awg 48 magnet wire items - Get great deals on Business Industrial items on eBay.com!
          I dont even know if the small spools listed have enough wire to fill that bobbin
          the others are heavy build
