If he's been reverse engineering, looks like he's been busy.
They have a lot of products up on the SP Custom site.
Looks like the same stuff most of the bigger Booteek winders show on their websites.
I did a lot of searches and came up with Marshall head amps mostly!

It's a very comprehensive site with a lot of well written French prose (and 2 pages of legalese fine-print on the legal page -links on the bottom of each page).
someone had to invest some serious time or money to get the site put together. occasion-musique is not resolving, just an error page. "occasion" in French generally implies "used" or "good deal". It looks like he's left Marseilles and moved out to Venelles which is about 20 mi north of Aix on the way to the alps (A51).
There were a whole block or 3 of music stores in Marseilles in the old days.
Out of curiosity, I'm not into pickup winding at all, I checked the site.
Looks well made.
He offers 46 different models.
It should be interesting to check whether he bought a model from you, then he offered a suspiciously similar one for sale, let's say, from 1 to 3 months later, on and on with regularity from 2007 to 2010.
*That* would be "suspicious behviour" in my book.
Now, that a shop sells a certain brand, maybe many others, and offers a house brand along that? .... see it every day.
That a shop buys at discount and sells retail, earning money "without working"?
It's called Commerce.

Sure, it's called commerce.
it's ipossible to say if he's reverse engineered anything because he does not list most of his specs. He's places several large orders from me since 2007, covering all models.
I highly doubt if Seymour for example, would allow a competitor to become a dealer.
Is it not ironic that here we have folks upset that someone is copying copies of pickups designed a half century ago? How is it OK to copy Gibson and Fender designs and then say it's not OK when someone copy's your versions of those classics?
Ox? Gored? Shoe? Other foot? Hipocrisy?
And while one can stop a competitor from becoming a dealer, one cannot stop a dealer from becoming a competitor.
Hey guys ! I'm Jeremy, owner of SP Custom brand and pickups maker.
I had a store, colled occasion-musique (can be translated by used-music, or used gear ) where I selled many used gear, collector's guitar but also Wolfetone pickups and also Voodoo pickups.
Not because I want to reverse-engineer pickups, but because I want to sell cool stuffs.
I found Legends and MarshallHead are wonderfull pickups, as the Voodoo '59.
What else ?
I was also selling Kami pickups who is a French builder making really great pickups. Even if he can't offer me a great dealing price, it was interesting, but more on a friendly way.
I think I have contribute to help Kami and Wolfetone pickups to be well known in France (Peter Florance hes never needed my help for that).
I love innovation and I always want to offer pickups what are not a copy of a copy (that's why there is so many - too many, for marketing purpose ? - references on the SP Custom line ... Can't hold creating new pickup ) ...
So, what could be the interest to copy your pickups, mate
And to answer to one of your questions, Seymour Duncan is selled by Mojotone, as 7 other well known brands, but Mojo also sell their own pickups
I really think that we, "small" pickups makers, must see all of us as colleagues more than competitors.

Rick, it is ironic yes. My concerns grew over how relatively easy it is to copy a design by unwinding, counting turns, duplicating the wind patterns, and esitating tensionm etc. People have done it before to me, and have gone so far as using some of my products names.

That's why so many pickups are encapsulated!
Some of the most reverse engineered seems to be the Burstbuckers.
If they didn't copy yours, it would be someones.
There are plenty to chose from.
