  • Regaussing in the UK?

I've had a set of Sd Custom Shop Dynasonics for 5 years, never used and just sold them. The guy has fitted them and the bridge pickup (wound at 11.9k) sounds awesome, according to the chap, but the neck pickup wound at around 10.5k is outputting very little, and he says that the pickup can not even hold a paper clip, so seems to be either magnetically discharged or else stupidly low gauss in the first place.

Does anybody know who in the Uk would be qualified to do this work as I obvioulsy want to make the pickup good for it's new owner.

    TIA

It wouldn't take much of a neodymium magnet or pair of them to get this pickup charged but that would mean taking the magnet out, i.e. pulling the cover off.
It might take an impulse magnetizer to re-gauss it in the armature. Shed? jonson? SLG?
