Humbucker vs sidewinder difference sound clip

Here's the two clips I promised to make. First part is in humbucker mode, second part in sidewinder mode. Guitar size humbucker blade style bobbins with 3mmx12mmx54mm C8 magnets in them. In sidewinder mode 3mmx13mmx54mm steel blade between coils. Recorded with same lego height setup, same settings on my Boss Micro BR, I tried to play with same touch. Please excuse the playing, legos and pickup over strings does make playing a bit hard. I hear difference between the two parts. Please comment if you wish.

Well, I don't hear such a notable difference in the high content of both designs, but I definately hear the loss of the fundamental sound in sidewind mode. For the Funk/Slap/Pop kind of player the sidewinder could be preferable; I prefer the conventional design in this particular case, as my concept is that you can take away what you have but you can't add what you don't have.

I think both sound ok too. Humbucker has a bit stronger lows, otherwise I hear no big difference.
