I only have a 30 watt iron. How do I remove a cover and Not ruin the Pup I want to Pot a aftermarket Pup.

Go to Fred Meyer in their electrical section of their tools area, they have a 40 watt soldering iron that is more like 60 watts in temperature, for about ten bucks. This was my main soldering iron before I got a Weller station, its plenty hot enough to open a bucker cover. Here it is in action:

And remember; after you remove the cover, throw it in the trash! We don't need no stinking covers! They screw up the tone.
