    Info from this forum....

I get all that I need to know about pickup winding from this forum. Of course I have some books on the subject like Jason's, but if somebody would take the time to collate every information that's been posted here (also from the old forum), and publish them, I am sure he can come up with a pretty interesting book on pickup winding.

BTW I'm not saying "Don't buy the book". Just saying that this is a great forum.

      Hey guys,

are there any other books that are "must have". Other than Jason's
      book?

      Btw, I ordered one, two.

Donald Brosnac's "Guitar Electronics-A Workbook" is a good one.

Hmmm..I heard this guy is from the netherlands. So, I might give him a call, directly.

I also heard the content wasn't so much about conventional Pup, but more concentrated on progessive designs/techniques.

Any thoughts of owners of this book?

                KevinT,
Sorry, I was reffering to "Animal Magnetism for Musicians".
it's written by a guy named Erno Zwaan. Sound pretty Dutch to me.

Yeah, he's Dutch. That's a cool book. It mostly discusses some ways to put pickups together, and nothing about winding them. Good info for making rubber molds for encapsulating/molding pickups.

He makes these pickups now. www.q-tuner.com
It would be possible to describe everything scientifically, but it would make no sense; it would be without meaning, as if you described a Beethoven symphony as a variation of wave pressure. — Albert Einstein
