Isnt this illegal not to mention unethical. He is known for his vintage looking pickups. They look like a vintage 74. What i'm talking about is look at the date on the bottom?? This could be used in a bad way I would think

Sometimes you see a part number on grey bottom pickups rather than a date.

Some master forgers who are not out to cheat anyone will deliberately use a date which falls on a Sunday rather than a workday date.

I think these look like '74's that were rewound. There's nothing special about mid 70's Strat pickups.
