no the exclamation was because it was free and not 200+ like on ebay. It is a 100% original print of the book, not a copy of it. I'll make sure to state myself more clearly next time.

#1. Don't insult my intellegence m___________! This is plain english. You may want to reword your shit, matter of fact, everyone here read it the same as me.
#2 Copy, how many definitions are there in American Heritage Lingo.
copy (kope) n.,pl.-ies. 1. An immitation or reproduction of something original; duplicate. 2. One specimen or example of a printed text or picture: An autographed copy of a novel. #3. A manuscipt or other material to be set in type.
Furthermore, so you would have everone here believe this guy you met at a forum gave you a book he could easily have gotten $200.00 for, and everyone in the pickup comunity and guitar world for that matter knows?
Come on!!! Since your so smart, Whats the definition of 'the'?
Reword your statement!!!

I dont insult your intelligence, I question it. I dont need to explain myself to you. Not everyone is out for themselves, it was a nice gesture from one kind person to another. I wont try to demean you by throwing names around. Grow up and find a hobby...like...pickup winding.

one of many: one of many identical specimens of something produced in large numbers, especially something printed or published

No need to question my intelligence, and no need to explain yourself either.
Not my book. Just simply put, you typed in error, and did'nt explain yourself. Had you, we would'nt be here. Obviously Jason chimmed in as well, so your typing error goes further than your tiny little mind can fabricate.
I'm fully grown...Rest assure. Sorry, I don't wind pickups as a hobby either. I'm not a weekend warrior. One of 2 main incomes, the other being a studio session player.
You must not be able to find "the" in the dictionary....and there really is'nt much you can do about that brown stain around your neck either. That happens when dads in labor and stops pushing.
By all means.....Have a Great day!

lay off the guy, a copy is plain english for a book, yes it can be used for a copied version. if he said he went to the local second hand bookshop (not that you are likely to find it there) and picked up a copy of the book would you be asking him where this shop is and report it for copyright infringement? obviously not, there was a simple misunderstanding and he clearly hasnt done anything wrong.

Your obviously a little late to chirp in tweedy. We clarifyed the matter. Now, As you have written, when you go to the store and pick up a copy (especially at a book store), I would'nt suspect the slightest infrindgement. Consider the way you typed it? What would lead you to believe "you picked up a copy of the book at a book store" , and copywrite infrindgement of an illegal copy are the same thing? Com'on man, use some thought. Maybe your typeing to type, whatever he clarified the matter and there is no need to bring it to the surface..............
