  • Flat and straight pickup rings

Whenever I try to track these down for replacement/restoration, I always fall flat. I'm hoping someone here can help me finally figure this out.

I manage to always need (I suppose because they always break) humbucker rings that are flat on the bottom (not for a carved top), and straight across for a guitar with no neck angle. Typically it is an older Ibanez RG series or something. I always end up having to sand down one meant for a Gibson style, but that is way more work than seems necessary.

    Anyone have ideas?

Okay, I just found some from AllParts. I feel like an idiot now. Carry on.

No, an idiot wouldn't have found them!
It would be possible to describe everything scientifically, but it would make no sense; it would be without meaning, as if you described a Beethoven symphony as a variation of wave pressure. — Albert Einstein
