    I mailed him as well

    Here is what I said

"Dude, this is a cheap mexican made fender tele pickup. It is not the way they made them back then. The old ones were made with entirely different stuff, cloth wires are the first and most obvious clue which yours don't have, secondly they didn't make them with plastic bobbins then either, 3rd they used black wax to pot them with making the string wrap black as well. Should I go on or just report this scam to ebay?"

    Some people, sheeeeesh!!

      I sent him this:

"That's not a vintage Tele pickup. The bobbin is made from plastic and the wires are plastic covered and blue and yellow. Real vintage Tele pickups (and even new US Tele pickups) would have fiber flatwork and black and white cloth covered wires. They don't use surgical tubing for springs either. There are never screws on the bottom! What you have is a cheap plastic made in Mexico Tele pickup from a recent Fender. "
It would be possible to describe everything scientifically, but it would make no sense; it would be without meaning, as if you described a Beethoven symphony as a variation of wave pressure. — Albert Einstein
