MusicMan pickup specs

I've searched on the internet but came up empty. Anybody know how many turns each coil has and what wire gauge they used on the 70's MusicMan basses?

the ones i've rewound were 8ks wire 42 (4k-X-4k) humbuckers

I started a thread on this on the old forum a while ago after searching for the same information. MusicMan had basically two or three different designs. I couldn't find a turn count or wire guage (I settled for 42awg), but settled for some really useful info one member in particular was kind enough to provide (I don't have a link to the post, but it should still be available) and the Seymour Duncan specs. There should be enough info to design one.

I just wired up a bass with Duncan MM 5 string pickups (SMB-5d). They measured 2.9 k on each coil. This was the ceramic model. He winds the alnicos higher (4.18K for 4, and 5.01k for 5 string model).

So I think Don is right for the real MM pickups.
