Juan, I have an alternate suggestion.
If you *like* the sound of your pickup, leave it alone.
Don't worry why it *doesn't* sound harsh.
    Have fun playing your guitar.

Yes, you are right, instead of that, iīm going to build another one and make a proof with this new pickup.

        But, he did ask why?
Unless you undo, your just guessing.
He Could probably figure it out with the extech, if he had one?

I only have a LCR and a multimeter, i need to know how can i use the cheap ceramic pickup for degauss the magnets of the other one...

If you want to degauss Ceramics, you will need NEO magnets to do that.
I thought earlier you were talking about Alnico Magnets.
It was probably the copper base plate, like others suggested.

If you just *have* to know what reduced the harshness, and you can do so without damaging the pickup, I suggest you try removing the copper plate before messing around with degaussing magnets.

                  +1

Ears change. Make sure you are hearing the same thing you heard the first time around. 4 months is a long time to remember what something sounded like.
You can probably de-Gauss Alnico 2 or 3 with a strong C8 magnet but I doubt you'd get very far with a C8 what's already inside another pickup.

the pickup 4 month ago sounded much stronger (in gain), loooots of upper mids, and for my sounded agly, in that time i used with the same pickup in the neck position that i have now so i noticied the differences between both, because now both have more similar gain. I use a lot of clean to overdriven sound and i have a very good ear memory (not to brag), when i played this pickup 4 month ago, I noticed that i could not play riff similar to hendrix strat sound for make an example, and now i have a pickup more darker, with punch and the caracter of an old strat pickup. iīm very sure of this.

                      I'm confused.

If, for experimentation, you want to get the pickup back to sounding ugly, why do you want to degauss the magnets?
If anything, the the magnets may have gotten weaker, not stronger... so wouldn't you want to try recharging the magnets with your neos?

I would still try removing the copper plate first. Or just be happy the pickup sounds good, and leave it alone.

yes itīs getting confused, maybe is my english problem.... i want to know why the sound changes, so i need to recharge them again and degauss the pickup and i will see what happend.

Maybe he rests the guitar on top of his amp, and maybe his PT is slowly degaussing the pickups?.

If you continue to recharge the magnets, I think they get weaker each time, throwing off your results.

There's no easy answer to your question. This is what I've learned from some experts. Pole length changes Gauss capacity and field shape. Wind tension affects inductance. Scattering (layering) decreases inductance, note fundamental/changes bass response, and whatever else regarding phase issues. Wire gauge and coil dimension affects Re, Q factor, inductance, and maybe capacitance (not sure ). Non-annealed wire can stretch, changing those factors. Wire insulation stretching increases capacitance. Insulation crazing causes eddy current shorts. You do know that external capacitance load changes the resonant peak? It will sound different with a different cable. I don't know, but I think the copper plate just increases bass resonance, which would in effect balance the "harshness" you spoke of. I've not heard, or experienced magnets getting weaker the more you recharge them?

I think it depends on the magnet type. I know some are susceptible to it. Maybe AlNiCu III, which is less stable? It bears looking into.
