heavy formvar wire

Hello everybody
my name is Yair and i'm new in this forum.
i'm from Israel.
i'm a guitar tech as well as guitars and bass and pickups builder.

i wohuld like to get some help in finding a good source to by wire from,
a speicaly the heavy formvar wire witch i can't find anywere.[i found it at Mojo bat the shiping costs they
asking for a small spool of wire is unreal...]

i buy the plain enamel wire from brocott.co.uk
they prices for wire and shiping are great and the wire is fine too.
unfortunately they dont make the heavy formvar wire.

i appreciate any help on this one.

Sorry to burst your bubble but brocotts wire is not plain Enamel .It's solderable poly wire ,quite a few retailers/makers call there poly wire enameled wire

I use to have my wire made to my specs here Shelhav Magnet Wires check them out- they are local to you. I dont know if they make formvar

i used in the past poly wire from Stewmac and it was big difference between thos two wires.
Stewmac wire somewat thiner and realy feels like difrent wire than Brocotts wire.

do you have any recomendation for good quality plain enamel wire?

They still make formvar Jason and their Shelamid comes up close as a good second. May be easier to get to them through this link. Shelhav. Sure Gil ships a lot of his wire from the states but talk to him Dor? (sorry Babyair) he's a good man.

i think shelav production Range is only 38-8 AWG
and custom wire is Expensive

Have you considered 42 HPN.
I use it instead of HFV.
