  • Brass baseplate from Mojotone (((((

Recently, I received parcel from mojotone.
Among the many parts were nickel silver baseplates for a 7-string humbuckers. They look at once seemed unusual. They were very light and shiny, not like a nickel silver. I decided to sharpen up the edge with a file and saw that under the white metal was brass! I wrote to Mojo, they confirmed that this is so, and after a while tell me about solving my problem. In this connection was lost, I repeatedly wrote to Mojo and they did not answer. What I was most disappointed that I order from mojo every month for over a year.
Unpleasant for me get that attitude as a regular customer. I hope that this post will see at Mojo and we will quickly and peacefully resolve this trouble. The more I got brass humbucker covers from mojotone, but I understant that it may be a mistake and they were replaced by Tom to covers made of Nickel Silver. But it is clear that the error could not be.

on photo this baseplate (on edge you can see yellow metal (brass)) and comparsion brass baseplate and original nickel silver baseplate (on humbucker).
Be careful when ordering and recheck the parts when getting it.

Thank you for telling us about the problem being fixed.

It is easy to make mistakes. It is much harder to repair a damaged reputation.

I have had good luck getting Mojo to fix, all parts and shipping issues.
For the Amount of Material they handle, I think they do a Steller Job!

Yes, it is very important that the company values its reputation. Due to the fast solution of the problem, I'm now ready to work with Mojo. I hope it was just an accident that can happen to anyone.

You have to understand that they buy parts from the various manufacturers out there. Sometimes they get something different from what they were expecting. I ordered a bunch of closed Jazz bass covers and in with the correct covers were some other slightly different covers. They didn't notice that they were mixed in the order they got. So you just have to shoot them an email, and they will fix it.

Right now Mojo has the best assortment of pickup making parts in one place. I buy lots of stuff from them.

Mojo had made a mistake on an order I placed a few months back...I emailed Tom about it and I swear the right parts arrived in the mail before I hit the send button!! They are great!!
