    I agree totally.
    That is the one plus Jimi had on the upside down lefty.
    He flipped the strings over but kept the string angle on the bridge.
    If you watch his old woodstock footage, It sounds like he is playing the middle pickup instead of the bridge.
    That had to be a large part of that.

        I haven't tried it but same on the P-Bass?
        Wouldn't it sound better if the bass string pickup was on the bottom instead of the top?
        I think Ibanez does that?
