    Hi there
Could some one please point me in the right direction as to where i conect the red and white wires to??

This is a Squire stagemaster strat with 2 humbuckers 1 vol 1 tone and a 3 way switch but i have no idea how to rewire a guitar as i never got involved in it before and im keen to learn.
Iv been googling but cant seem to come up with much like this one.

Is it just one red and one white? I would use red for hot and white for ground. It looks like you'll have to wire it up like a Tele so here's a good schematic:

Just substitute the red for white and the white for black. Or you could do white for white and red for black, it won't matter as long as the two pickups are wired the same. The bare wire goes to the back of the pot.

Thanks J S i think i can work with that my friend, the bare wire is still conected to the back of the pot so i'm good there. it was mostly the red and white plus the switch wiring has been removed also and that had me kinda stumped as im more used to seeing a les paul 3 way switch.

      Thanks for the quick reply

A multimeter could help you figure things out pretty fast.

Thanks again guys you were a big help.
I also had to connect a second terminal at the switch to each pup because the center position was giving no sound, so i figured that one out and the guitar is working again now. Along with better quality wire and shielded wire to the jack socket im happy to say there is not even the slightest bit of buzz or hum from the beast.

This is the first Squire i have ever owned and i have to say i am impressed so far not much difference to my two Fender Mex strats to be completely honest. With the added benefit of the locking Floyd rose trem i must say i really like it, the humbuckers sound great!

Thanks again and have a happy Easter holiday.
