Are "frames" the same things as bobbins? I'm a little confused here.

Frame or as we know them, "Base Plate".

I suppose if I was going to make more of them the pre-made baseplate would be nice instead of drilling my own, but where's the fun in that? ;-)

Oh yeah, drilling a series of evenly spaced holes in a straight line in metal is always my idea of a good time!
