loose copper winding on scatterwound pickup - Is this acceptable?

    Just heat it with a hair dryer until the wax gets soft then use a tooth pick and tuck it back onto the coil as best you can, then wrap the coil with some scotch tape or whatever tape will work, even teflon plumber's tape would be fine.
