this is getting bad. gone from wives to clam jousters in one thread so Who's the bad influence. spose I'll have to read more about pups so I can talk about something else. While i'm here guys wanna say a heartfelt thanks.
Been around 60 years, 40 0f which have been involved with guitars and over 20years building them. Got the pup basic off Kent 18yrs ago and built my first winder and since then just the odd rewind with no knowledge whatsoever. Now I need to be serious and what I've been learning here from reading you guys is a total breath of fresh air. I've always felt that there are those that can do and there are those that teach, but you guys do both and that is rare. I won't be able to add anything on the winding side but on the building, machining and painting side then allways willing to help, so thanks guys and I'm gonna keep reading as long as I can. Ive seen your work too, and like stated....please don't stop..Your knowledgeable about things I have'nt seen in depth here. His work really speaks for itself. You got some way with words too....LOL. Steves a flawless metalsmith ( Is that the correct term?)Comment
