  • How about a starting place for a noob?

    I would love to be able to make my own pickups.. Alas I know not the first thing about doing it.. Where is a good place to start or get info on this ?

    That link gives you everything you need to know to get started. Then do a coupld google searches and you should be able to find a chart of the number of turns fender used for their pre CBS pickups. I made pickups for a year or so before I felt like looking for any 'new' information and that was only after I decided I wanted to develop my own pickups instead of just making old clones.
