Does anyone here know the wire size these are wound with? My guess is 45 AWG. Small bobbin 7.8K ohm per coil. Anybody here have any advice through experience regarding rewind of these? Thanks...

Hello, and Welcome. You should be able to measure the wire by checking the resistance of a 10 foot piece. 45AWG should measure about 3.3ohms for a 10 foot length. http://www.mwswire.com/pdf_files/mws...Book082011.pdf< This will show you what you need to know to determine the wire size. John_H, Thank you for being so helpful. I certainly appreciate your response. I have measured and it is around 3.3 ohm/ft. that's why I
guessed at the 45 AWG. Thank you again. It's very nice to know there are people like yourself who help others.

Can you post some photos of that pickup? Does that use the odd magnet layout?
