I've bought .187's from Addition FX during the past 12 months at $0.40/piece (300 piece range). Send Dennis a email requesting a quote. Shipping is pretty reasonable too.

You might check with Allstar Magnetics as well. I have lots of the .196 x .787" but nothing in the .187 at that length. It's going to take them minimum 2-3 weeks to restock but if you are serious you should just get your own from Antiam or Sensemag etc. You'll pay a sixth of what you are paying now (+ substantial shipping charges) and you'll control the inventory.

But does anyone know if the Shea at Magetic are the exactly same "alloy" we are in a production situation, and our pickups have to sound the same, every time, I knew it was a bad idea to put my eggs in Mojo's basket...

              Have a nice one

I've used the Magnetic hold magnets and Liked them.
As far as exact alloy, who Knows? I don't.
If you're out try them and see.
I did notice that each brand is a little different length, but close.

I wouldn't count on Mojo's batches matching, they may use alternate sources and the Chinese foundry/s where the are getting their magnets probably have very little consistency from batch to batch. If you are really a production pickup maker why would you be buying magnets from Mojo? That makes no sense economically especially if you are paying to have them shipped to three continents. I doubt anyone will notice if you change from one foundry to another. You are getting hung up on a QC point that you can quickly adapt to with a little testing and altering of your wind. It's like a bakery making their famous cakes using sugar they get from the packets at a fast food restaurant. Now they are freaking out because the waitress forgot to restock the tables.

We tryed chinese magnets years ago, and really it was 35000Kr (about 7000$) down the drain, the where sensmag and they sucked big time, we build around 30 guitars a year, not big deal I know, but we try all we can to keep stuff consisten and the Mojo Magnets sound good and we have had good luck with them, and we can buy 200 magnets when we need them, We don't have the money to order directly from the factory, we are a small business... I know we should just give up and turn in, the world is not build for small business anymore...

Not true. We have been using the same magnet source for several years now and they are very consistent. I wasted a lot of time and money finding the right source. We ran out of this particular magnet size only because several customers ordered large quantities during the same time period. It's impossible to forecast a random upswing in sales like that so we can only take this information and increase our safety stock levels for next time. They are on order and will be in stock again soon.

And the price will stay at close to $1.50 ea. unless they are ordered by the ton ?

All you have to do is buy 12 and you get a huge break. It costs us time to pull, pack, and process just a few magnets which is why we charge more.
