Bill has everything packed up but he's out of time before his guitar show this weekend. He'll be shipping these out on Monday. I hope everyone can wait a few more days.

I'd be curious to know how you guys have found this wire to be? If the feedback is good (no pun intended) I might consider getting PE from AWC; years ago I bought a roll of heavy formvar from them and the results were exactly as I hoped with this type of wire. If it helps with any future group buys, I'm in Massachusetts and Sandy Hook is about 3 hours away from me."One experiment is worth a thousand expert opinions...."

When Bill went to pick the wire up he said that the factory looks practically abandoned, not much to see at any rate and no exterior markings. Clearly it's quite an old facility in the latter half of it's life. He did gather that they occasionally pull steel wire for D'Addario strings and might even have housed a string winding lathe or two for D'Addario. It was mentioned to Bill that they pull 42 PE about every 6 months or so and that we would be welcome to put an order together the next time it happens.
Perhaps in March 2015 someone will remember to get this process going again.
