Marko, that's a really smart way of avoiding a complicated mold.

I did do some brainstorming for some time. This was the easiest solution and it works fine. I thought about two piece molds but none of them was easily castable and as bulletproof as the mold I finally made. I have two molds of five bobbins so I can cast bobbins for five string pickup at one cast. Threading and drilling is also a lot easier and faster than with acrylic bobbins.

For a two pickup wal type?
If 10,000 turns for the bridge coils, what would be ideal turns for the neck pickup coils?
        8k-9k turns maybe?

Terry, I think I'd be tempted to keep the turns count the same and just use a thinner magnet at the neck position

The magnets are all the same to fit the MusicMan covers.
I will probably reduce the neck by 15-20%.
Just wondered if anyone else had come across this?
