Well here it is taken apart. I tested the coils each and they are open. Looks like the salt water definitely saturated this pup. I will try the acetate to see if that will weld the bobbin together first. if not them maybe the CA glue.

I use this on pickups that needs any gluing.

I would start with that. get it at Wally world, and it seals up and keeps well.
You have done a lot of the hard part. It looks good.
The screws and slugs can be chucked up in a cordless drill and spin the heads and ends on sand paper.
I would leave some rust on screws and bobbins and rewind with minimal cleanup, to have a great conversation piece. ("The Hurricane")
Clean up the magnet, keeper, baseplate and small parts as required.
Test magnet for magnetism. If no gauss meter, just make sure the screws and slugs will stick to both edges of the magnet.

He sells a lot of stuff, but I personally like the Mojo stuff as well or better.
The baseplate has the non vintage round corners, the baseplate is threaded, if you like threaded baseplates.
Tonally I'm not big on his bar magnets, especially A2s. That is strictly my Personal opinion.
I'm probably pickier than most.

The reason I ask was that I ordered the 2 white bobbins from ADFX that are the 42.9MM and was hoping they would be good to use.

BTW, I wanted to ask, did you build your winder? reason I ask that is that I have looked at some really cool homebrew winders on YouTube and some people get really creative.

I think you should be careful about putting into the public domain dealer/trade price lists. This put's the suppliers in an awkward position. Dealer price lists are for dealers and not the general public.

Here's another Price List, I just posted for Shea at Magnetic Hold.
It has a new threaded rod magnet, for wide range Guitar pickups, available now.
It also has 2 new Bass rod magnets, a 5/16, or .312" x 3/4, and a 3/8, or .375 x 3/4, available the end of this month, 1/31/15.

I have been looking at youtube videos of people building winding machines from old sewing machines and that got me thinking about parts. I found this on ebay since I don't have any old sewing machines around to get parts from

Its a start, need a case, then a counter and set it up to turn either direction. Cheaper than building the Stew Mac Schatten pickup coil winder

I use the Mojo Winder, I got it last spring.
Works great, is a no nonsense, powerful, fast machine, that takes up a small footprint.
Set the wind direction, the amount of turns, wind till it stops, and you're done.
It also has a handy built-in gauss meter.

Before I bought it, I emailed back and forth with mojo, and they assured me it was heavy duty, and should last a while.
The StewMac winders just look to be made a lot cheaper.
Also the Countdown winder is much easier to use than a count up winder IMO, where you have to manually stop at a given turn count, with most count up winders.
With the Mojo winder, Once you get to winding, you don't have to look that much at the counter, when it gets to the end, it cuts off. Eeezy Peezy!
I like it, others may like something else better.
The gauss meter is real handy, because you don't have to drag out another device on a busy bench!
Making a machine is fine, and has been done many times successfully on this forum.
Be sure and check the Tools area, for winder info.
