I'm going to unwind two dearmonds shortly including .....a Mandolin pickup to get the TPL.

Hi Belwar, Pls forgive my jumping into the thread here, but I'm thinking about what kind of (magnetic) pickup to make for my archtop mandolin.
Until you mentioned it, I had forgotten there was a DeArmond mandolin pickup. Might be shallow enough to fit between strings and soundboard - solving the problem of overlapping or filling the soundhole and spoiling the acoustic response. When you get around to peeling your mando pickup, I'd be grateful for the details.
