      paraffin

      used by "They Who Must Not Be Named" years ago....

      M.Argueso in Mamaroneck NY (since moved to Michigan) was the original source for the microcrystalline wax. They mixed the Cerita wax (casting wax) with the paraffin and beeswax to get their potting formula.

      Refer to patent 4144075 for more details. Take note of what additives are used and their melting temperatures. Column 7 of that patent has useful information.
