  • Q: 4P5T rotary switch sources?

Does anyone know who makes the 4P5T rotary switches sold by StewMac, Philly Luthier, etc? It seems like a nicer switch than the usual Chinese fare, but I can't find them at Mouser or the other big parts sites.

    Thanks,
    Mel

Probably Alpha. Probably made in China. Have you looked through all the options at Digikey? Grayhill probably makes a decent switch for a price.

Thanks David. You're right, it's an Alpha switch. I went back though and found it at Mouser. I had been searching for 4P5T, when the switch is listed as 2P5T, 2 deck. The Grayhill switches look really nice, but built and priced for major industrial applications, not piddly stuff like guitars!

Here's the Alpha at Mouser, should anyone else be interested: SR2921F-0205-19R0B-E9-S-W Alpha (Taiwan) | Mouser
