How thick were Charlie Christian blades?

Like... closer to 16 gauge than to 12 gauge?

they varied depending on year and version- they were milled so the bit that extended under the bobbin- the bobbin was self contained and press fit- that bit was thicker than the extended blade and was most often .188 thick but I have seen them as thick as .2 and the blade was as thin as .075 and as thick as .125. Having said that I have seen more than I recall but I certainly havent seen them all so there may be more variation.
