Being the P-90 born as a 50.8mm, I don't think you'll have any luck finding alternative measures.

It's actually not that difficult to make your own bobbins. Keeper bars of that measure are found everywhere. You only need to adapt the baseplates, which is more than feasible if you have some power tools and the right bits.

If you expected to find everything ready to assemble, then, making a Seinfeld reference, "No soup for you!"

      Thanks for your answer LtKojak,

Actually, I want to propose a butyrate covers, but I only find it in 49,2 mm.

Maybe the best way should be to find a 50 mm butyrate covers. Do you know if it exist ?

49.2 will possibly work with 50 mm parts- were talking the two outside poles would be off set by .38mm and the inner poles would be less so unless your pole piece screw heads are maximum diameter youll probably never notice.

              Hi Jason,

I already tried my 50 mm P-90 with the 49,2 Gibson ABS covers but it does not fit in.

I don't understand why the pickup parts manufacturers build all parts, bobbins, baseplate in 50 mm only and the butyrate covers only in 49,8 mm.
Does someone have an idea ?

Why can't you find a pack of hotdogs and a pack of hotdog buns with the same number in each pack?

Why do manufacturers make metrically-dimensioned parts for U.S. designed pickups which were originally dimensioned in inches?

Why do I have to search out pots with 6.35 mm (=.25") diameter shafts, or use 6mm shafts with some kind of bushing or spacer, so that my Fender knobs will fit without wobbling?

                  It's not comparable,

There's no problem to find a 6.35 mm pots and 6.35 mm knobs.

I mean there should be a request for a butyrate covers in 50 mm, because it's the only measurement we can find for P-90 parts.

I'm sure you can find a hotdog buns with the same lenght of hotdogs too.

No, as LtKojack has alluded, both the parts and the covers should be 50.8 mm.
Because the original measurement was 2".

                      P-90 Plastic Pickup Bobbin 50mm

Looks like Mojotone's site "PickupParts" menu isn't working... anyway, they have everything you need with the metric 50mm polepiece spread. P-90 Nickelsilver baseplates, keeper bars, bobbins and plastic covers.
