  • Need help ID'ing a few pickups - Bill Lawrence / Dimarzio

Bill Lawrence L500xx. Measures 14.00K, one coil is 7.03K and the other 6.97k. Been using BL pickups since the late 70's and have no idea the lineage on this one. Can anyone positive ID this one with the info provided? Model number and magnet type would be great.

Mystery Dimarzio #1 A parts drawer find, no idea what, when, why, or who. The double slugs have me thrown off.

The Lawrence looks like one of the Bill Lawrence USA pickups. That's the "fake" Bill Lawrence.

The DiMarzio looks like a Super Distortion. Are the poles adjustable? If they aren't, it's a variation they used for OEM.

Is that last one a DiMarzio? Looks like a generic dual slug humbucker. My Parker P-38 (made by Cort) has one.
It would be possible to describe everything scientifically, but it would make no sense; it would be without meaning, as if you described a Beethoven symphony as a variation of wave pressure. — Albert Einstein

      Lawrence ID:
Identify your L-500 with this simple form!!! | Bill Lawrence Review

That DiM is OEM, like Super 3 supplied in Hondo guitars in cca 1978-1986.

Third one looks like a Powersound Ibanez/Cort.
