I think I saw in a recent post, someone here makes, or designs pedals. I need to contact that person.

What kind of pedals? It would be possible to describe everything scientifically, but it would make no sense; it would be without meaning, as if you described a Beethoven symphony as a variation of wave pressure. — Albert Einstein

One of my suppliers in Korea can produce the electronics but, is looking for something new in the way of the box. He thinks that a new shape, color, logo, or magic will make his boxes more attractive, and they will sell better. I have no experience with boxes other than used a few over the years.
Do you think he is right?, wrong?, maybe?
Would anyone be interested in working with him? or maybe entering a "Design the Box" contest with the prize to be a whole lot of pickup parts?
Thanks,

then click on guitar effects. being the same forum you wont have to register. im sure you would have mroe people interested. i think people making pickups tend to not use effect pedals too much, as most of them (depends what type) sterilyse the sound we work so hard to get.

IMO the presentation is half of it, just take a look at the opposition. I don't own any but I would buy Marshall pedals as art.
Boss pedals have a certain something too:

I also like the Daphon hammerite finish pedals - heavy metal cases that look the business, can't see how they make them for the price: the E20OD is a ts808 for £12-18 ($24-36 U.S.D.). I'd pay that for the case alone.

design...
I'm a professional designer, thats what they need. Jon Gundry does Throbak pedals. Design contests are unethical, a way to rip off people for free. I charge $75 an hour up if they want an attractive interface design, just need a box to work over.....http://www.SDpickups.com
