  • Flat Pole Strat Magnet Length

Haven't wound pickups in a long time and when I did a was almost exclusively humbuckers. I am piecing together a Strat for myself and am going to wind some flush pole pickups. What is that typical magnet length of most modern flat pole Strat pickups?

The only info I could find is conflicting. Both supposedly measurements of "70s" Fender pickups:
    Seymour Duncan says .656"
    StewMac says .671"

If anyone happens to have a flat pole Duncan lying around and can measure it, that would serve my needs.

    Thanks in advance,
    Dave

    This might help!
Depending how tall you want them, and how much sticking out the top.
