I finished the pickups...
The Korean Epi HB had bobbins 3/8" tall inside and not even 1/4" from the inside to the flange edge, but by winding tight I got 7250 turns of 43gauge in each, total DCR 15.3Kohms.
The other pickups were 6000 turns 43gauge each bobbin, 12K total almost exactly.
The pickups didn't get to me in very good shape, he just put the unwrapped plastic parts in with the metal parts all loose in a bubble mailer, and treated it to the 'tender mercies' of the snail mail man. By the time I got them, they were all pretty well relic'ed, with two bent baseplates. I know he's going to holler, so I am shipping them back in a real box UPS COD, with plenty of bubblewrap.
