Has anyone had any luck finding suitable rivets for putting DeArmonds back together? I have a few moustache foils I'd like to put back together and a Hershey bar and I'm having no luck at all finding rivets for them. I'm especially having no luck with hollow rivets for the Hershey bar. I've looked and looked and ordered several different kinds and no dice.

I found the old silver foil post. I haven't tried those rivets specifically, but I have used that style. I'll look into them again and try to post what happens. -
I remember ordering some hollow rivets years ago and they were slightly larger than the originals but I decreased the diameter of the heads by chucking them in a drill and grinding them down. I believe they turned out pretty well. Not an exact match (the domes were a tad thicker) but when you replacing all the rivets they look right.Comment
